Swimming Pond & Beach
Our NEW one-acre swimming pond and wrap-around beach opened in August 2021!
The use of this area is included for our registered campers. You are provided with a "Resort Band" at check-in; all persons with a registered Resort Band are eligible to use the swimming pond, beach, and WIBIT inflatables without additional charge. Day visitors must register at the office upon arrival to purchase a day pass.
The weather will play a role in determining the opening and closing of Morey's Oasis each season.
If weather permits, we will install the 2 WIBIT inflatable systems the week before Memorial Day and remove them the week after Labor Day. We will post exact dates on our Facebook page when those dates get closer.
The beach/swimming pond can be used by campers when the WIBIT inflatables are not installed, however, the buoys that replace the WIBITs are not to be touched or played with. Parent supervision is always required.
Swimming Pond Rules
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY - SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK
For everyone's enjoyment, health and safety, please obey the following rules at all times:

Life jackets highly recommended for all.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Stoney Creek Resort Band must be worn and visible by all person age 4+

No pets allowed on the beach or in the water.
-
No glass containers allowed on the beach or in the water.
-
Pond will be closed when lightning or thunder are within 20 miles.
-
No swimming after dusk.
-
Please pick up your trash, do not litter.
-
Do not throw sand, mud, or rocks.
-
Please keep radio volume to a minimum.
-
No motor or electric vehicles on the beach.
-
No pool chairs in the pond.
-
This is a lined pond; please do not screw or pound stakes, umbrellas, or anything into the sand within 10 feet of water line. Please stop digging at soon as the black liner is showing.

The pond is not chlorinated. It may have bugs, frogs, turtles, and other wildlife present.

WIBIT Inflatable System
What in the world is a WIBIT?
WIBIT is the name of the inflatable water obstacles in our swimming pond. There are two different systems:
The smaller system is in the lagoon area of our swimming pond- approx. 4 feet deep. This area is intended for smaller kids to use with their parent/adult assistance.
The larger system is in the far end of our pond- approx. 13 feet deep. Life jacket is highly recommended for all.
Use of our WIBIT systems is included for our registered campers without an additional charge. Day visitors must register at the office upon arrival to purchase a day pass.
WIBIT Inflatable Rules

No pushing, tripping, fighting or rough housing is permitted.

Do not touch, hang, or unclip the cords that secure the WIBIT.

Do not swim underneath the WIBIT.

Participants must remove all jewelry, keys, glasses, sunglasses and sharp objects from their person that could damage the WIBIT.

Stoney Creek
Expansion Update
We purchased the a new piece of property to the right of our entrance area in 2019. We've been working on this new area over the last couple seasons. We've added a one-acre swimming pond with wrap around beach, and 33 more full hook up sites. Our new building is currently under construction and should be ready in the summer of 2023!
We have plans to add more rental cabins over the next couple of years.
