ATV Trail Access

Bring your ATV with you!

Stoney Creek campers are permitted to bring their personal ATV/UTVs for their family vacation.

ATVs can only be driven from your campsite to the ATV trails and back; they cannot be driven around the campground as a mode of transportation. 

If you would like to bring your ATV/UTV, follow these steps:

1. Check the DNR's website for current status/fees for the Buffalo River State Trail (button below).

2. Let the front desk know before or during your arrival that you've brought your ATV(s).

3. Agree to the rules listed below and enjoy your stay!

ATV/UTV Rules

  • Speed limit in campground is 5 MPH. Must be followed at all times

  • ATVs can be driven from your campsite to the ATV trail and back- they cannot be driven around the park as a mode of transportation. 

  • ATVs should be parked on the gravel of your site, not the grass.

  • ATV trailers can be parked at our maintenance shop- must arrange with management prior to arrival. No parking trailers in the grass.

  • All state regulations must be followed- Please see the DNR's website for laws regarding age, safety information/equipment, etc.
